Our Meeting Room is located on the first floor of the main brick building. It has chairs, tables, air conditioning and heating to offer a comfortable environment for everyone.
The Meeting Room can host guests for retreats, dinners, reunions, birthday or graduation parties, family reunions, wedding events and much more. AV equipment is also available for rent in this area.
Many groups that stay at the Retreat Center, also reserve this Meeting Room or the Grotto to give their talks.
The Omaha Conversational Spanish Group held a meeting at the Columban Retreat Center in the summer of 2021. I can tell you that it is a wonderful venue, located close to Olde Towne Bellevue. The center is surrounded by the lovely Columban campus; a wooded area that includes walking paths, a grotto, a gazebo, and open fields. You’ll probably see some wildlife there, including deer and wild turkeys. Overall, the Columban Retreat Center is the ideal location for your next event.

If you’ve visited us in the past, please stop by to see the upgrades! The meeting room has been repainted, new flooring has been installed and all outdated decor removed to provide a more modern space. We added a catering kitchen (no stove or oven) so you can bring snacks and refreshments to your event.
Feel free to walk around the beautiful facility during your visit. The property has many tree-lined pathways and our Pavilion features large open fields for group activities and a beautiful walking trail that leads down to our private Grotto where you can meditate on the Stations of the Cross and the Stations of Resurrection on our famous Calvary Walk which was built in 1923. Pause to reflect for a moment in the Memorial Garden which displays the names of the Columban Fathers who died as martyrs. In this garden you will see bricks with names of loved ones that we honor and commemorate. We have bricks available for purchase if you have a loved one you would like to honor and commemorate by adding their name and history to our garden.
